LDW Christophe de Sousa

Franco-Portuguese designer Christophe de Sousa was born in France in 1979. At a young age, he moved to Portugal, his parents' homeland—an experience that deeply influenced his multicultural perspective.

Exposure to diverse cultures and frequent travel have become key sources of inspiration throughout his career. From an early age, Christophe demonstrated a strong passion and natural talent for drawing, which led him to pursue a degree in Industrial Design at Lusíada University of Porto, providing the foundation for his creative journey.

Through collaborations with companies across various industries and recognition from prestigious international awards, Christophe has refined his expertise and developed a distinctive design approach. His work exemplifies a deep appreciation for the harmony between form and function, always driven by an unwavering attention to detail in the pursuit of perfection.

Since early 2018, Christophe de Sousa Studio has been based in Porto, Portugal. The studio collaborates with renowned brands such as Delta Cafés, Siemens, Wewood, and Mercedes-Benz Headquarters, along with prominent international institutions. Christophe’s designs have earned recognition both in Europe and internationally.

The shapes come into a fusion point and the result is the corners of the legs protruding from the round shape.

Ora is the Latin name that defines the edges.
